These lovely roots need to be planted in a sunny position, where it catches the sun for the majority of the day. Avoid planting them under trees and ensure they are at least 2 ft from a wall.
Dig a hole which is 8 inches deep by 1 ft round and place the root with the eyes facing up, 1 inch below the surface. Add soil and water generously. Avoid using mulch as it encourages bacteria. If planting multiple peony roots, plant them at least 3 ft apart to ensure good airflow.
Coral Charm is highly recommended to lovers of colour changing peonies. Because they are semi-double they might not last as long as double varieties. Therefore, it would be a good idea to refresh the water and keep it cold for optimum vase life.
